Mayura Natyalayam Bharatanatyam Academy was founded by Prithika Kamalesan, a certified Bharatanatyam dance teacher. She has been learning Bharatanatyam for over 16 years. She is a disciple of Kalaimanram Academy of Fine Arts, Canada, and has graduated with a Teacher’s Diploma.

Over the years, through numerous performances, productions, and classes, she has developed discipline, creativity, and a true love for this tradition. Prithika is dedicated to taking this beautiful art to the next generation in a structured manner, preserving its tradition while nurturing each student’s artistic growth.
